Remember that two-on-two Herc event we just did? Well here’s a one on one event for some gems. It’s not really that difficult either.
Some bits of information:
-30 rounds total
-one enemy only, so bring single target damage
-3 gems available at stages 10, 20, and 30 (Magic, Speed, Power respectively)
-50 jewels per victory
-10 jewels on boss victories (the ones that award gems)
-that’s 1380 jewels total
-farmables drop often (which is either amazing or annoying as hell and nowhere in between)
-cleanse medals (Belle, Alice, Zero, etc.) and general defense down medals (iAnsem, iXion, HD Axel, Meg, etc) help a ton
-only the last set has buffs/debuffs listed, since the others are pretty easy to clear; additionally, only boss stages list extra enemy health bars
-I don’t think a play-by-play guide is going to be very useful for you guys, but I’ll say that Classic Donald on Divine Rose absolutely wrecks Cerberus

March ‘17 Coliseum Titles: Blue/Pink

New month, new Coliseum! This one’s set up exactly like last month - 10 tiers, plus tier 11 for progression. Tiers 12-14 are still not implemented, though the rewards are still present in the Rewards screen. But let’s get to the main event: the enemy list.
(For the new people, the x1 means any round that ends in the number 1. Round 1, 11, 21, etc all use these enemies. So and so forth for x2, x3,…)

Strategy:
This month is surprisingly tame. The White Chocolate Statues have a ton of health as the levels go up, so you’ll want to skip Round 9. You’ll find some enemies like the Black Copter and the High Wizard that might give you some problems, but hey, at least there aren’t any jesters!
Rewards:
Completing Tier 10 nets you 2900 coins, enough for both the blue and pink boards. You’ll have 700 left over. By completing Round 80 in Tier 11, you’ll have enough coins to buy both Magic Mirrors, which I advise over the EXP medals.
The boards come with the same skills as always: DB2 and 5 other things you’ll curse for taking up inventory space. You’ll get the new Coliseum Knight outfits as well as the title Tough Guy for the blue board and Mighty for the pink board.
This month’s skill is the coveted Attack Boost IV, which does x1.8 damage when activated. AB4 is given out to the top 10k, with the top 1k receiving two and the top 100 receiving three. Capes are also awarded to the top 100k, giving the Rare Enemy +4 perk.
Anyway, that’s that. Good luck everyone, have a great March!!

Dearly Beloved is the perfect nerd song to play at your wedding because people would be like “yo this song is so pretty what is it called??” and you can just be like “Dearly Beloved” and they’ll think its specifically for weddings, not from a videogame that features Mickey Mouse beating up monsters with a key
From my understanding of the situation, Japan has some pretty heavy gacha laws that require everything in a free phone game to be obtainable to a reasonable degree. So you see things like 3 orb mercy pulls and Mickey&Brooms in the Japanese version of the game to satisfy those laws.
Japan got M&B only four months into the game and the global version is starting its 11th month soon. Our premiums are only now starting to come with dots, and they are never guaranteed. The games are not only at different places in development, but different games altogether. From what I can tell of the global game, its purpose is to make money. So the question isn’t so much if it would help the game to release M&B, but if it would make them more money.
On one hand, it makes guilting easier. It means spending less money for the same outcome. But on the other hand, it allows more opportunity for players. It might inspire more people to play and the current players to spend more knowing their goals and aspirations can be achieved.
In my personal opinion, I am really unsure whether or not they will add M&B to the game. I see both arguments as being likely. But I do firmly believe that if they are added, it will be this April during the anniversary. If the anniversary comes and goes without M&B, I’ll firmly be in the “we aren’t going to get them” camp.
Loving all these questions!! Thank you!!
Absolutely!
All Hades fights are pretty much the same. His level is low, so Strength up medals - iKairi, Sebastian, Pooh, Piglet, etc. - and PSM medals - KH2 Kairi, Jack & Sally, WoFF medals, etc. - are going to be more useful than Defense down medals - iXion, HD Axel, Meg, etc. Hades is Magic so use Speed medals - Divine Rose is probably best.
The big thing here is his x3 PSM defense. You should get rid of that as soon as possible. Alice, Belle, Anti-form Sora, Zero, etc. are great ways to do this. If you keep dying, you should use Namine to steal his defenses before you clear them. You have two turns - later, three turns - to kill him, so don’t worry about getting a one-turn.
A really easy F2P build would be something like Pooh, Alice, Moana, Jack, Larxene B. This setup on DR will 1 turn Lv. 160 before you even get to your friend medal - I just tested it. ^_^
Hope this helped!!
This is a great question.
The key quote in the series regarding this strange phrase is from Ansem the Wise: “A boy like him who touches so many hearts - he could open the right door and save all those people whose lives I managed to ruin. So many are still waiting for their new beginning, their birth by sleep. Even me. And even you.”
This vague idea is obviously subject to interpretation. Though it’s not expressly stated, the idea in the community (and according to Nomura, again, cryptically) is that “birth by sleep” is sort of like a renewal, or a redemption. A beginning of things. It’s more a spiritual birth in a way than a literal one. A lot of this probably comes from the idea that “death” within the KH universe is unlike death in our universe. It is often not so concrete. Throughout the franchise, a lot of hearts are tied to Sora. Especially given some lines in Dream Drop Distance, the implication is that Sora is probably the key to bringing about this spiritual rebirth, and in some instances, basically, reincarnation. Then you have KHUx, the sleeping realm, the Dandelions, and the story of the end of the world from Kairi’s grandmother’s story. There are a lot of threads at play here. What once probably started as a “cool sounding phrase” has really turned into a philosophical theme as the games went on.
But the BBS title specifically? It likely has to do with it being the beginning of things, the start of the cascade of events that led to everything. But also, by the end, almost every character is awaiting renewal, redemption, or a second chance.
[Edited for clarity - I was tired when I wrote this.]
