This month, the raid event is a lot more like they used to be. You get Raid Coins for beating bosses and you can fill out a Raid Board every weekend. Hocus Pocus - that ripped pumpkin house in the picture - is your new raid boss. He only has two weak points, which means only three turns of attacks. To top it off, the Level 1 has over 7 million health. Very tedious, but great for Lux farming.
There are some new bonuses though! For example, completing the Raid Event mission once can net you 150 extra jewels - 50 per objective. Also, beating a Level 10 raid boss still gets you a 6 star Chip, Dale, and Moogle. It’s nice that they kept those rewards, but the bosses have much more health now so it will be even more time-consuming.
The board takes 190 coins to complete. You get 50 coins for victory, 10 for all points, and 10 for host. That means it takes three or four kills to clear the board. The rewards for the board are:
~Chip +85
~Dale +85
~Cid
~Magic Mirror
No title
Like always, Double Lux and Double Spawn Rate for associated times. Those times haven’t changed.
Every weekend for the month of October this event will come up for Saturday and Sunday!
Have a wonderful month everyone!

This is hands down the best event to date. Seriously. You get a total of nine Jack Skellington medals (which are the magic version of BC Mickey), which means automatic Guilt and /two/ rerolls! Someone at Square loves us.
And how do you get them? Piece of cake! There is an Event up until 10/16 with 4 missions. Each one has three objectives:
Defeat 7 or more enemies - Jack
Defeat 13 or more enemies - Jack
All enemies in one turn - Magic Mirror
The highest enemy level is 140, so this is probably a little easier than the Proud quests from the game’s launch. In other words, none of them are that difficult. Even if the MM is out of reach, you should be able to get all 9 Jacks.
Now, I say nine. Two per mission. But there’s another one that is given to you for free just for logging in between 10/1 and 10/10!
Here’s a list of the enemies you’ll encounter in each mission. You’ll find a new type of enemy called the Jack O’ Lantern - these always have a Type-Defense x2 for the first turn. They are, however, very easy to beat even without a debut medal. Also, four Special Chests are in each mission.

There is no real strategy here - the missions are generally pretty easy. I recommend going to straight to the 140 (or 130) in each mission first. If you’re having trouble with Mission 4, use Jack.
WARNING:
PLEASE be careful when combining Jacks!!! You’ll want to combine FOUR together, then THREE together. In other words, you should wind up with a 5* Jack with 3 dots, one with 2 dots, and two with no dots. Evolve all four to 6 star, combine the 3 and 2 dots, then reroll as necessary.
FINAL NOTICE:
Jack is awesome. He’s very powerful. And they gave us nine of him. If you get a good roll your first time through (85% or higher) or if you get a good roll on your first re-roll, consider saving the other Jack. At 6*, fully buffed with Chip and Dale, even without Guilt, he’s amazing. Having an extra is a serious advantage.
Don’t forget to do the event! It’s literally the best medal you will get for a long time, and it’s basically handed to you! I cannot stress this enough!
Good luck and have fun!

This HSC is different to the previous ones because it takes advantage of the new “if you die, you keep your score” mechanic. Basically, the whole mission is a gauntlet, where the enemies get harder and harder as you advance. Eventually, you will die. (Or rather, I couldn’t make it to the end!) It’s a lot like a Coliseum month bundled up into one mission.
Here’s your list of multipliers:

The two Premiums - SP Axel and SDG - are the ones that have 21% bonuses. This is great because they’ve been in the system a long time and more people will have them! The down side: the 14% bonuses - the new +3 Strength medals - are /not/ guaranteed pulls in the EMC for the first time ever. This makes getting those medals a lot harder.
Additionally, the new paid board - Halloweentown Goofy - only gives 7%, which is really stupid.
So let’s get down to the enemies:
Lv. 10 Shadow (P) x5 ~ 632
Lv. 20 Chomper Egg (S) x4 ~ 1169
Lv. 30 Creeper Plant (S) & Tornado Step (S) x2 ~ 4632
Lv. 40 Fire Plant (M) & Blue Gummi Copter x2 (M + Magic-Defense x1) ~ 8307
Health Chest
Lv. 50 Wyvern (P + Strength x1) ~ 20192
Lv. 80 Yellow Gummi Copter (S + Speed-Defense x1) x5 ~ 2538
Lv. 100 Neoshadow (S) & Shadow (P) x4 ~ 10000
Lv. 1 Gift Shadow (P) x5 ~ 500
Special Chest
Lv. 120 Red Copter Fleet (P + Power-Defense x2 & Speed-Defense x2) ~ 41250
Lv. 130 Large Body (P) x3 ~ 12250
Lv. 150 Candy Apple (M) x2 ~ 13750
Lv. 170 Possessor (M) x5 ~ 2700
Lv. 180 Gummi Hammer (P) x2 ~ 26800
Health Chest
Lv. 200 Invisible (S) ~ 56250
Lv. 1 Gift Shadow (P) x5 ~ 500
Lv. 210 Bag O’ Coins (P) x3 & Shadow (P) x3 ~ 4650
Lv. 220 Black Gummi Copter (S + Type-Defense x1) & Creeper Plant (S) x2 ~ 31200
Lv. 230 Large Armor (P) ~ 32300
Lv. 240 Blue Gummi Copter (M + Magic-Defense x1) x5 ~ 5100
Lv. 250 Armored Archer (S) x2 & Hook Bat (S + Power-Defense x1) x2 ~ 21250
Health Chest
Special Chest
Lv. 260 Morning Star (P) & Armored Knight (P) x2 ~ 67500
Lv. 1 Gift Shadow (P) x5 ~ 500
Health Chest
Special Chest
Lv. 270 Bag O’ Coins (P) & (M) & (S) ~ 5550
Lv. 280 Darkball (M) x2 & Possessor (M) x3 ~ 23500
Then I died. Ran out of Special.
“After the darkball is a [Health chest and Guage chest and a] single lvl 290 armored knight followed by two 300 search ghosts. After the ghost are two bees [Nimble Bee] after the 2 bees there is a lvl 320 big bee [Stinging Bee] accompanied by two bees [Nimble Bee]. There is lvl 330 neoshadow and invisible afterwards with 4 and 7 bars of hp respectively.” ~ by Reddit users rival_king & f8bindsall
You’ll notice a new type of enemy: Gift Shadows. These are basically one shot mobs that mark the end of a “section”. They give about six bars of Special. This lets you go all out on the Invisible and Morning Star with little repercussion.
Strategy:
One of my favorite things about this event is that it completely relies on skill. Whereas the previous event relied solely on multipliers, this one almost admonishes you for using them. I’ve done this mission maybe ten times now, and I have gotten a significantly higher score (700,000) with 0%, and only 630k with 42%. This is because my best setup (Magic heavy Divine Rose) can get me a lot further in the level than my multiplier setup can. My recommendation is to try the event twice - once with multipliers and once without - and see which has a higher score for you.
Secondly, you’ll want a multi-colored keyblade. There are all three types of enemies in this mission, and very strong ones at that. Divine Rose and Olympia are very good for this. Put an off-type friend medal on at the end since it doesn’t get keyblade bonuses anyway. For example, use a friend’s Axel with Divine Rose, or use a friend’s SDG with Olympia. (If you have Ill. Terra or Ill. Sora, it might be more beneficial to use the same-type medal to get the type bonuses!)
0 SP medals are your friends. If you’ve managed to get RAX or TVA, use them. SP goes fast and the chests in the level do not give enough back. If you have Attack Prize Plus, use it.
Edit: BC Mickey (especially guilted) on Olympia is great for this event because of the multiple types of enemies.
Rewards:
The rewards go up to a million points. They include things like AB2, AB1, Magic Mirrors, Cids, Nephew medals, and Chips and Dales. 600k has a 6 star Chip and Dale. 800k has AB2, and 900k has four MM.
The top 5000 get Attack Prize Plus, which, if you don’t have one, is exceptionally useful.
So that’s it. Good luck! Event ends 10/13!
<3 KCM
P. S. If you know what enemies come after the ones listed above, please feel free to tell me and I’ll add them to the list!!

It’s just a standard event coin thing: do the mission, get coins, spend them on the avatar boards. No special medals or anything. So let’s get started.
The mission itself costs 2AP, so you can spam it. It’s not a really hard mission - just very time consuming. All the watermelons - of which there are three kinds - are Power type and have -2 Defense and -2 Type-Defense. So when we get up to those crazy health bars, don’t get too intimidated. (The + numbers next to Huge Watermelons is how many extra health bars they have after the four green ones.)
Screen 1:
x3 Lv 25 Wicked Watermelon
x3 Lv 25 Wicked Watermelon
x3 Lv 25 Wicked Watermelon
x3 Lv 25 Wicked Watermelon
Lv. 75 Large Watermelon
Lv. 75 Large Watermelon
Lv. 75 Large Watermelon
Lv. 75 Large Watermelon
Lv. 100 Huge Watermelon +13.5
~*TARGET*~ Lv 25 Wicked Watermelon
Special chest - 6 bars
x11 Silver chests
Screen 2:
Lv. 150 Huge Watermelon +13.7
Lv. 150 Huge Watermelon +13.7
Lv. 200 Huge Watermelon +13.9
Lv. 250 Huge Watermelon +14.2
Lv. 300 Huge Watermelon +14.4
x2 Special chests - 3 bars
x1 Special chest - 6 bars ~ in front of lv. 300
By the end of the mission you should have about 21 silver prizes, 5 gold prizes, and 460ish coins. (On a side note, skipping the second screen entirely nets you around 75 coins and is soooo not worth it.)
Each board is 5000 coins to complete. 10,000 total. Then two bonus boards if you hate yourself.

Title: Hidden
Strategy:
Go in with a full special bar. Go to the right screen first and start blowing everything up strongest to weakest. If you need Special come back to the first room and kill things. Kill everything. Kill the target.
Everyone is super susceptible to damage. The only one that can one-shot you I think is the lv. 300, so be careful. Bring DB2 and APP if you’ve got it. Buff medals, high damage. Everything is single target.
All the Wicked and Large watermelons can basically be auto-attacked down. After you kill everything else, kill those to build your Special back up for the next run.
That’s all! Have fun!
Ends 10/6.
<3 KCM
…I’m not really sure. It’s just one boss. Speed type: Playing Cards, level 150. That’s it. The total score is like 2,700 at 0%. 4,500 to get the top reward, which is AB2. Scoring in the top 2000 gets you AB2+Lux UP.
Here’s your multipliers:

…that’s it.
Uh.
Good luck.
<3 KCM

Long story short: you need 10,000 coins to get all the stuff. That’s seven Sweetheart Beasts to guilt, and one Prince & Belle. Guilting Sweetheart Beast will reward you with a 6* Chip and 6* Dale at a later point. The medals aren’t very special: just low levels heals. Do the missions, get the coins!
Mission 3 gives about 80-85 coins in my experience, so that’s about 120 runs.
Mission 4 gives about 475-500 if you can clear everything (ha!) so that’s only 21 runs.
So Mission 4 is a bit rude. It has three level 150 Search Ghosts, buffed with strength up x2. They are easy to one turn, though. Then there are three sets of Cannon Guns in the other room. They are:
~x1 Lv. 200 Cannon Gun
~x2 Lv. 220 Cannon Gun
~x1 Lv. 230 Cannon Gun & x2 Lv. 150 Cannon Gun
Each Cannon Gun has x2 type-defense boost.
Beating the three Search Ghosts and ignoring the Cannon Guns gives about 115 each run, which is about 87 runs.
BUT!!
If you can manage to beat two Cannon Guns (I took on the Lv. 220 pack) you can satisfy one of the Mickey stamps. You CAN use continues to do this. Then do a second run where you don’t use a continue and don’t open any treasure chests. Once you satisfy all three Mickey stamps you can use Skip Tickets to give you ~500 coins per ticket.
When I have enough AP to figure out the title for this board, I’ll add it to the guide. No title.
Good luck!! Event ends 9/22!!

HSC is over in a couple days! Here’s a video of my 45% run to help people out.

Good luck!!

New HSC! It’s hands down the easiest one yet. Scoring high will get you up to six Shadow medals (the final one at a very unnerving 725,000). Ranking in the top 20,000 will get you the last Shadow to guilt.
Top 5000 get a Darkside medal, up to three in the top 200!
Top 5000 get a Behemoth medal, up to seven in the top 200!
And of course, the usual Chips, Dales, Magic Mirrors, Cids, EXP medals, and Moogles.
Here’s the multipliers:

Here’s the enemy list in order of appearance:
Right path:
Lv. 150 White Rose (M) ~ 23500 ~ x1 Speed-Defense ~ Sleeping
Lv. 200 Wayward Wardrobe (M) ~ 56250 ~ 3x Magic-Defense
Top path:
Lv. 150 Large Armor (P) ~ 23500
Lv. 200 Hammer Frame (P) ~ 56250
Main path:
Lv. 30 Red Gummy Copter x5 (P) ~ 1389 ~ x1 Power-Defense
Lv. 30 Blue Gummi Copter x5 (M) ~ 1389 ~ x1 Magic-Defense
Lv. 30 Yellow Gummi Copter x5 (S) ~ 1389 ~ x1 Speed-Defense
Lv. 50 Large Body x2 (P) ~ 6153
Lv. 100 White Rose (M) ~ 18000
Lv. 50 Wibble Wobble x2 (S) ~ 6153
Lv. 100 Large Armor (P) ~ 18000
Lv. 50 Darkball x2 (M) ~ 6153
Lv. 150 Aeroplane (S) ~ 23500 ~ x2 Defense
Lv. 30 Yellow Gummi Copter (S) ~ 1389 - x1 Speed-Defense
Lv. 100 Aeroplane (S) ~ 18000 ~ x2 Defense
Lv. 200 Cannon Gun (S) ~ 56250 ~ x2 Type-Defense
Lv. 30 Blue Gummi Copter (M) ~ 1389 ~ x1 Magic-Defense
Lv. 25 Red Gummy Copter (P) ~ 1279 ~ x1 Power-type defense
7 Special chests
7 Health chests
The only three threats here are:
Lv. 200 Wayward Wardrobe (M) ~ 56250 ~ 3x Magic-Defense
Lv. 200 Hammer Frame (P) ~ 56250
Lv. 200 Cannon Gun (S) ~ 56250 ~ x2 Type-Defense
Strategies:
Either try to out-damage the level 200s or Alice/Belle to get rid of their buffs. Minnie with DB2 and Poison will work, but it’s not hard to two-turn. There are so many Special chests that it’s not really relevant to conserve so just nuke those bosses.
A 10% run got me 402k and 20% got me 440k. So you’re probably looking at 90%ish to get that last Shadow. Shadows and Darksides were already in the game, though, so this might be the lucky break you need to guilt them!
Ends 9/8! Good luck and have a great HSC!
<3 KCM
NOTICE: Also, dying in the HSC now applies your score and gives you the rewards!! That means if you did a great job on two of the lv. 200s and died on the last one, the score you had when you died will apply to the HSC.

New month, new Coliseum! Just like last time, you need 1100 coins per board. That means to get everything in the blue and pink boards, you need to complete Round 30 of Tier 10. This is probably going to be the norm, given the past three months. But hey - cute outfits.

In my opinion, it’s not as bad as last month. At least you don’t have to deal with that damn witch and her healing.
Good luck! Have a great September!!
<3 KCM
Beating her in three turns without Namine is completely possible. Without Pooh or Piglett, it might be a little harder.
Namine is exceptional because she acts as a x2 Speed and a x3 Speed. That’s better than any buff card in the game. Pooh and Piglett (and Pooh&Piglett) are a x2 to Strength. The only other medal on par with these right now is KH2 Kairi, who gives x2 Speed. Without those three, it makes this fight very difficult.
Pairing any of the above (Pooh/Piglett/Pooh&Piglett/KH2 Kairi) with Diz/Vivi/Aerith/Nick&Judy/White Rabbit/Roxas&Axel&Xion can be just as good as good as Namine.
I’ve seen videos of people three turning her with Nick&Judy and Diz/Vivi/Aerith, but they have guilted Speed medals. Single targets like Tifa and Peter Pan (or if you managed to guilt Illustrated Yuffie last month) are amazing for this. Shadow if you have it guilted, or BC Mickey can be useful as well. You don’t have to worry about Special a lot, since you probably won’t run out in three turns as long as you save your second turn for auto-attacks.
The alternative is defense down medals, like Owl, Illustrated Ventus, Sora&Donald&Goofy, Megara, and Cinderella. But I can’t tell advise on their effectiveness, since I don’t have any of them. >_<
In short:
You probably need one of the following to properly 3 turn Master Ava:
~Namine
~Pooh
~Piglett
~Pooh&Piglett
~KH2 Kairi
~Illustrated Riku
~Illustrated Ventus
~Two or three high guilt Speed medals
Friend medals can help with the last one, but the buffs are up to you.
Never fear, though!! As the game continues, better medals will come out and keyblades will get stronger the more you upgrade them! Master Ava will always be in the game, so nothing is stopping you from trying again in a few weeks. ^_^ That Unchained title will be waiting for you!
