Hi, Im Kaci. I play too much Kingdom Hearts. If you've got questions, I've got answers.

Damn look at those outfits!  So stylish.  Lovin’ it!  You’ll need to clear Tier 10 to get 2200 coins, enough for both outfit boards.  This will also get you the titles Wanderer (blue board) and Beauteous (pink board).  Finishing Round 10 of Tier 12 will get you enough coins for one Magic Mirror from each bonus board.

This month’s reward is Attack Boost IV Max, which is a 100% chance to activate AB4.  Top 10k gets one, top 1k gets two, and top 100 gets three.

The tiers look to be the same as last month:
Tier 11: 50 rounds, 9 skips
Tier 12: 100 rounds, 7 skips
Tier 13: 300 rounds, 6 skips
Tier 14: 999 rounds, 3 skips

Avoid 3 and 10 at all costs.  2 and 5 are pretty hard for one turning.  7 is alright as long as you can kill the Sonata before it heals.

8 is definitely the easiest round.  1, 4, 6, and 9 are the other ones you’ll want to be focusing on.

That’s all!  Good luck this month!

Aladdin HSC Guide

Let’s just assume we know what we’re doing now with this HSC stuff.  This time there are three paths - one for each type.  You’ll have to pick one and you can’t go back after you leave the screen.

Rewards:
Aladdin & Genie [M] - raises Speed and Magic strength by two tiers for two turns for 2 gauges.  That’s pretty rad.  Especially if you can get Extra Attack on it!  You get these by getting 7.25 million points or coming in the top 5k.

Aladdin & Abu [S] - same as above, but only for one turn.  And Speed.  And 4 SP instead of 2.  You get these by getting 3 million points or coming in the top 20k.

Multipliers:

Score:
I pulled about 4.4 million at 0%, which means you should need 65% to hit 7.25 mil.  But in actuality I hit 7.7 mil at 63%, so…

With this week’s pay to win incentive (iHT Sora) 7.25 is pretty easy to get.  A few people are sharing KA 6 and 7 too, which helps a lot.  Don’t worry about rankings so much as getting that 7.25 reward.

Guilt:
To guilt A&G you need 7.25 mil and be in the top 1k.  7.25 will NOT get you in the top 1k - it’ll probably be more like 9 mil by the end of the event.  Luckily, guilting isn’t that important.  If you can get 7.25 mil and Top 5k, you have two trait rolls and that’s all that matters.

To guilt A&A you need 7 mil and top 2k.  But getting 7 mil gets you four trait rolls no matter how you rank. (Top 1k does get another trait roll…)

Alright, that’s about it.  Good luck everyone!!

Org. XIII Lexaeus Guide

image

Another month, another Organization event.  This time we have one of our most forgettable members: Lexaeus.  I’m never going to remember how to spell this guy’s name so we’re going to call him Lexy.

The formula for this event is as follows:

  1. 3 Single Target enemies, the first two which have the Caution (*C*) warning, which gives them first attack.  No continues.
  2. One enemy, one turn.  This is the easiest one.
  3. One enemy two turns.  These are usually bosses and have lots of health.
  4. Repeat.

In line with Lexy’s fight in KH2, all the enemies are Power type.  A lot of the bosses have defense buffs you have to cleanse off them.  There are also a few hit counters (you get x amount of hits before they attack you), which is maybe a reference to the power levels?  I don’t know.  Unfortunately there aren’t any enemies that “power up” over time, which I thought would be a cool idea!  I feel like less work went into this event versus some of the others (Larxene, Xigbar).

Enemy List:
*Lexy B missions are bolded*

1: No continues
Lv. 25 Large Body *C*
Lv. 25 Defender *C*
Lv. 25 Gargoyle Knight

2: One Turn ~ MM
Lv. 50 Morning Star

3: Two Turns ~ Lexy B
Lv. 75 Enraged Elk (+3 P-Def, +8 Health Bars)

4: No continues
Lv. 100 Large Armor *C*
Lv. 100 Mega Shadow *C*
Lv. 100 Hammer Frame

5: One Turn ~ Lexy B
Lv. 125 Fat Bandit

6: Two Turns ~ MM
Lv. 150 Cerberus (+2 PSM-Str, +2 Health Bars)

7: No continues ~ MM
Lv. 175 Defender *C*
Lv. 175 Shadow (& Pals??) *C*
Lv. 175 Armed Warrior (+3 PSM-Def)

8: One Turn ~ Lexy B
Lv. 200 Ringmaster (50 Hit Counter, +3 Health Bars)

9: Two Turns ~ Hairstyles
Lv. 225 Behemoth (+39 Health Bars)

10: No continues ~ Lexy B
Lv. 250 Gummi Hammer *C*
Lv. 250 Ringmaster *C* (35 Hit Counter, +3 Health Bars)
Lv. 250 Wandering Spook (23 Hit Counter, +4 Health Bars)

11: One Turn ~ Lexy B
Lv. 275 Gigas Shadow (+5 Health Bars)

12: Two Turns ~ Lexy B
Lv. 300 Dual Durandal (4 Turn Counter, +1 P-Str, +50 Health Bars)

13: No continues ~ Lexy B ~ Title: No. V
Lv. 350 Armed Warrior (+3 PSM-Def, +5 Health Bars)
Lv. 350 Enraged Elk *C* (+3 P-Def, +1 Str, +32 Health Bars)
Lv. 350 Iron Giant (+93 Health Bars)

The first eleven missions are pretty straightforward.  You might have trouble pulling off damage on enemies like the Behemoth.  Remember that enemies at Lv. 225 don’t have a lot of defense, so you should be stacking your Strength and PSM Strength buffs instead of Defense Down.

Mission 12:
This guy is sort of an ass, but it all comes down to luck.  After the first four medals, you’re going to be paralyzed for the rest of the fight.  Remember Extra Attack won’t proc if you can’t use the medal the first time.  He hits a lot for a good amount of damage, so make sure you have at least one (maybe two?) healing medals or a few DB procs.  Paralysis Resist actually has some usefulness!  But in my opinion, you should stack the most damage you can (since you still have to get through 50 health bars in two turns) and just re-run the mission until you get lucky.  It only took me two tries, but it took my roommate thirty.

As for damage, I used Classic Donald and Xigbar B on DR (both F2P medals).  They do a ton of damage and leave room for three buff medals.  Use Single Target stuff like Mickey&Minnie and iB&B is really helpful with the cleanse.  Take a high damage friend medal: KDG works wonders.  This damage wall is going to be what gives players trouble, since Mission 13 is harder but more forgiving.

Mission 13:
There are two problems here.  First, the Enraged Elk has first attack.  If you don’t have good Def +2000 traits, you’re going to really need DB3 or Second Chance.  Like.  He just destroys you.  Don’t have any of that?  Grab a friend medal with SC.  Remember, you CANNOT continue.

Next is the Iron Giant.  He hits like a truck, but there’s a pretty easy way around this.  Pluto B from the last High Score Challenge gives +2 Power Defense.  Stacking two of these (one with Extra Attack) trivializes the fight.  Then you can take your time and whittle him down since there’s nothing he can do to kill you. Pluto B does cost 3 SP each though, so make sure you are bringing SP recovery medals!

An alternative method to Pluto B is Triple Threat.  Paralyze/Sleep/Poison on your friend medal (especially if it has Extra Attack) can really save your butt.  Actually, Pluto B with Extra Attack and Triple Threat is the absolute best share medal for this mission, so if you run out of SP you can just tap and pray for TT to activate.  Alternatively, Pluto B with Second Chance for the elk.

When you finish Mission 13 you get the title: No. V
As for traits, you’re aiming for Str+1000 (generally good) or Aerial Def -60% (situationally better).  Aerial over Ground because a lot of Speed enemies are flying type, specifically the Black Copter Fleet.

Good luck this week!!

May Coliseum Guide

May Coliseum is officially up! It finally got a much needed update. Now the Tiers go up to 22. I… I’m not sure what that’s all about, but… uh. Yeah. 22. Tier 11 only has 50 rounds now and thankfully skips ahead by 9 rounds instead of 3! Beating Tier 11 gets you 900 coins and kicks you into Tier 12. Tier 12 has 100 rounds and lets you skip by 7 rounds. Beating Tier 12 gives you 1500 coins and kicks you into Tier 13. I’m not sure how many rounds Tier 13 has (I want to get this guide up ASAP) but all subsequent tiers reward a magic mirror on completion. Honestly they should have put Brooms instead of Mirrors but whatever. I’m not salty. You’re salty. Shut up.

[C] Caution - enemy attacks first

Note: Bunch O’ Balloons is really cool.  After you kill it, it makes this huge explosion that damages all the other enemies in the group!  I hope we see more of this one.

The biggest change I notice in this Coliseum versus last month: there are a lot less buffs.  This probably devalues the cleanse of iB&B, which was just coming out at the beginning of April.  A lot of the rounds are Power enemies too.

Those Pumpkin Soldiers are going to be a real pain late in the game, as well as the Black Copter Fleet.  Honestly, we are pretty familiar with these guys by now so there’s not a lot I can tell you.

Rewards:
Everything is the same as always.  The ranking reward is Second Chance II, which is just Second Chance with a higher proc rate.  Top 10k get one, top 1k get two, top 100 get three.  Everyone in the top 100k also get glasses that match the Chip and Dale avatar boards.

Blue Board Title: The Chosen (what a badass title!)
Pink Board Title: Hard Worker (…wait so girls have to work hard but guys just get to be chosen?? That’s… a surprisingly apt description of modern day gender equality)

Okay, that’s it.  I have some homework to do, so GOOD LUCK THIS MONTH!!

Edit: Tier 13 has 300 rounds, skips 6.

Mickey & Minnie HSC Guide!

image

New High Score Challenge!  Though this HSC actually has a pretty fun design, SENA keeps our spirits low with terrible multipliers, no mercy pulls, and only two chances at trait rolls.

Rewards:

Mickey & Minnie and Pluto B.  M&M is General Defense Down by two tiers for one turn.  Which is great.  But it’s single target.  Pluto B is Power Defense Up by two tiers for one turn.  In short, M&M is pretty damn good (situationally) and Pluto is pretty damn bad (situationally).

To get M&M, score in the top 5k.  To roll for traits, you need 8 million, which will probably land you in the top 1k for guilt.

To get Pluto, just score a million points.  It’s pretty easy.  To guilt Pluto, score 4.5 million and land in the top 2k.

Honestly, neither of these medals are going to do you any good guilted.  You’re basically fighting for the right to have a chance at rolling the Extra Attack trait.

Multipliers:

Five medals you’ll never get and one 14% medal you can snag for 3k jewels.

I’m a little upset over the “no mercy” for HD Namine or Illustrated Roxas (21% each).  But I’m even more upset that the other three newbies (Yaoi Hand Ansem, Cat, and Ugly People; 10%) aren’t even guaranteed!  AND I AM EVEN MORE UPSET that we have no 7% multipliers!!

Anyway.  The enemy list:

First Room:
Lv. 50 Shadow [P]
Lv. 50 Soldier [S]
Lv. 50 Blue Rhapsody [M]

Pick your path:

Power
Lv. 100 Dire Plant x3
Lv. 150 Large Body x3
Lv. 200 Armored Knight x2
Lv. 250 Mega-Shadow
Lv. 300 Large Armor x2
Lv. 400 Morning Star
Lv. 500 Red Copter Fleet

Speed
Lv. 100 Chomper Egg x3
Lv. 150 Wibble Wobble x3
Lv. 200 Armored Archer x2
Lv. 250 Stinging Bee
Lv. 300 Aeroplane x2
Lv. 400 Cannon Gun
Lv. 500 Yellow Copter Fleet

Magic
Lv. 100 Bag O’ Coal x3
Lv. 150 Darkball x3
Lv. 200 Wizard x2
Lv. 250 White Rose
Lv. 300 Fire Plant x2
Lv. 400 Dark Plant
Lv. 500 Blue Copter Fleet

~*Target*~ Lv. 50 Shadow [P]

I didn’t mark down buffs and debuffs this time because by now we are all pretty well-acquainted with these enemies.  I’ll say that the Speed path definitely has the most buffs, so bring a cleanse if you think you’ll need it.  Other than that, go with whatever works best for you.  The Copter Fleet is obviously the biggest hurdle: Second Chance and really strong single target will be your go-to for this one.  Remember to build as much Str Up and Def Down as possible.  Take a friend’s KDG if you aren’t using a multiplier friend medal.

My 0% run ended at 4.78 million.  Based on the magic of math, that means you’ll need 67%, but I’m sure absolutely no one will agree with me.  Since there is no guarantee in the entire medal draw this time around, getting anything over 14% (35% with a friend medal) is just sheer luck.  And for what?  Two chances at rolling Extra Attack on M&M?  I dunno.  Doesn’t seem like very good odds.  Even at 1900 jewels per pull, it’s still littered with Tier 2s.

And so continues my unending decline into pessimism.  These HSC used to be fun, right?  Right…?

Guide to Traits

image

EDIT 10/30/18:
For PVP, EA is everything.
STR +1000 after that, then Ground.

EDIT 5/14/18:
~Ground and Air are necessary and are the best traits in the game.
~EA for all buff medals.
~STR to fill in the blanks.
~Gauges on Reverse medals.
~HP > DEF

The Union x update to KHUX brought with it a new system called Traits.  Basically this is another level of randomness, because guilt rolls and 3000 jewel pulls wasn’t enough. >_<  Any time you add a medal to another medal with the same ID, it will roll a trait (as well as put a guilt dot into it, as described here).

A down arrow (the up arrow in the picture above) has been added to the bottom of the medal screen.  This shows the medal’s traits.  Guilt Tier 1, 2, and 3 get one trait, while Guilt Tier 4 and 5 get two traits.  If you roll another trait and you don’t have room for it on the medal, you can replace one of the current traits with the new one or choose to keep the ones currently on the medal.

So how many traits are there and which ones do you want?

Five traits affect the keyblade as a whole:

  • Max Gauges +2: Increases maximum gauges by two
  • HP +800: Increases maximum HP by 800
  • Poison Resist 20%: 20% less likely to be poisoned by an enemy
  • Sleep Resist 20%: 20% less likely to be put to sleep by an enemy
  • Paralysis Resist 20%: 20% less likely to be paralyzed by an enemy

Six traits affect only the medal in question:

  • Strength +1000: Increases Strength by 1000
  • Defense +2000: Increases Defense by 2000
  • Ground Enemy DEF -60%: Decreases defense of ground enemies by 60%
  • Aerial Enemy DEF -60%: Decreases defense of flying enemies by 60%
  • Damage in Raids +40%: Deals 40% more damage against raid bosses
  • Extra Attack: 40% Power: Allows the medal to be used twice, though the second one is at only 40% power

The absolute best ones you can get are Extra Attack and Str+1000. (Edit: Enemy DEF traits too!)

For buff medals (let’s say Illustrated Kairi), having Extra Attack means doubling the effectiveness: +3 Str turns into +6 Str.  The downside is that it doubles the Special cost as well: 3 gauges turns into 6 gauges.  But with gauge restore medals and Cost skills, gauges are a lot easier to manage.

With damage medals, Extra Attack is a little less useful.  Damage is depreciated to 40% of its original damage, where buffs are not.  Here’s some math.  Eraqus at lv. 100 is 7245 Str x 4.58 multiplier x 2 (100% guilt) = 66,364.  x1.4 for Extra Attack is 92,910.  Str+1000 is 8245 x 4.58 x 2 = 75,524.  So your choice here would be 100% damage for 10 gauges, or 81.3% damage for 5 gauges.  Either 10% damage per gauge or 16.3% damage per gauge effectiveness.  Also the higher Strength does more damage against high level defense enemies.

But what about SP1?  Now you’re doing 92,910 for 2 Special!  Or you could use AB4 and Str+1000 and get 135,942 for 5.  Then there’s AB+SP0 and stuff…

The point here is that the more SP a medal cost, the less efficient Extra Attack is.  Of course, if you’re not doing any damage (Illustrated Belle & Beast is 5 cost, but its a buff medal), then SP1 and Extra Attack is the way to go!

Now that enemy levels are through the roof, sometimes the only way you can do really good damage is with the Enemy DEF traits.  That’s because Defense Down is capped, so the only way to exceed that cap is with those traits.  Honestly, they are probably the best traits in the game right now.

I wish I could calculate the +800 Health vs. the +2000 Def, but I honestly think it’s too situational.  Defense is great up until a point, but it’s also worthless beyond that point.  Health is just a flat increase, which sounds better, unless you happen to be fighting one of those enemies with an attack that falls in the range of where +2000 Def would help you… if you had to choose between them, I’d probably take the +800 Health.

So some general rules on Traits:

  1. For Buff medals, always Extra Attack.  Def+2000, HP+800, and +2 Gauges are good secondaries.
  2. For damage medals that cost 3 or less gauges, always Extra Attack
  3. For damage medals that cost 4 or more gauges, Str+1000 is probably more realistic.
  4. For damage medals, -60% Def (Ground or Aerial) are great and are probably going to be necessary for high ranking Coliseum.
  5. For medals you never use, +2 Max Gauges can be helpful for Proud quest rules.
  6. For medals you never use, the Resists are worth having one of each.
  7. For your raiding medals, +40% raid damage is amazing AND it stacks so get two or three!!

On a final and very important note:
Fantasia Mickey B (Mickey & Brooms) DOES NOT give you a trait!

Org XIII Event Guide ~ Vexen

New Org Event!  It’s really easy so this guide is basically pointless.  This time we get Vexen, one of my least favorite characters in the franchise.  You see a lot of themes in this event revolving around the number four, collecting ice crystals, and high defense enemies.  These are references to his Organization number, his ice powers, and his weapon of choice: a shield.

Vexen isn’t a particularly good medal, but the trait of choice you should be going after is Extra Attack.  This means on the fourth turn you can have him at +7 SM Def.  He also only costs one gauge per use.  Still, the medal itself is very specific and not extremely useful.  On the plus side, almost everyone will be able to get it.

All three objectives in each mission are the same, so you don’t have to worry about too much.  Follow this guide - or don’t - and you’ll be done in no time.

1.) 1 Turn ~ HDL
Lv. 25 Defender [P]
Lv. 25 Defender [P]
Lv. 25 Defender [P] x3

2.) Materials ~ MM
Lv. 50 Yellow Opera [M] x5

3.) Low HP x3 ~ Vexen
Lv. 75 Neoshadows [S]
There are six Neoshadows.  From left to right, the third, fifth, and target are low HP.

4.) 60 Seconds ~ HDL
Lv. 100 Defender [P] x2
Dodge all the enemies and head straight for the target.  Follow the materials.

5.) No Continue ~ Vexen
Lv. 125 Wandering Spook [M] (150 hit counter) & Defender [P] x4

6.) Materials ~ MM
Lv. 150 Neoshadow [S] & Armored Archer [S] x2

7.) Mushroom x4 ~ MM
Lv. 175 Gold Tricholoma [P] +2 Def
All four have a counter of 4, meaning four medals before they disappear.  Double Activation takes a second turn.  Two of them are in one group.
Lv. 175 Defender [P]

8.) No Continue ~ Vexen
Lv. 200 Huge Snowman [M] +3 PSM Def
Cleanse.  Xigbar B helps a ton.

9.) Low HP x4 ~ Hairstyles
Lv. 225 Neoshadow [S]
Under the arch, bottom right corner, hidden behind the wall, target.  There’s a material by each one to help identify them.

10.) 1 Turn ~ Vexen
Lv. 250 Armed Warrior [P] +3 PSM Def
Cleanse.  Easier than the Snowman.

11.) 90 Seconds ~ Vexen
Lv. 275 Wayward Wardrobe [M] +3 M-Def & Armored Archer [S] x2
Follow the materials.

12.) Low HP x4 ~ Vexen
Lv. 300 Neoshadow [S]
Any group with only one enemy.

13.) 1 Turn ~ Vexen & Title (No. IV)
Lv. 350 Armored Warrior [P] +3 PSM Def x2 & Defender [P] x2
Cleanse.  Only +6 health bars.  Str up and Def down are important.

Alright, that’s all I’ve got for you.  Leave comments below if you need anything!  Good luck.

HSC Guide - Cinderella

At the girlfriend’s house so let’s make this quick.  New HSC: Cinderella & Jaq (C&J) and SP Cinderella (SPC).  They both do exactly he same thing for some reason (str and def by one tier for two turns plus curaga) except they cost 4 gauges and 3 gauges respectively.  Additionally, C&J is Speed, SPC is Power.  Honestly, there’s no reason to break your back over this challenge.  The medals are blah.

Multipliers: Tieri, iSora2, Bad Boy Riku, and Spaceship Ansem are 21%.  Bird and Whale are 14%.  The new Pay To Win medal is 10%.

April ‘17 Coliseum Guide

image

New month, new Coliseum.  Except there’s nothing really new about it.  So let’s talk about the two big changes.  First and foremost, it looks like the Tiers for completion now go all the way up to Tier 21!  Which is just so great, because honestly we are just breezing through Tier 11.  Right?  Right?????

The second change is, of course, the enemy list:

xx1: Magic
-Candy Apple x2
-Wizard & Bag O’ Coal x3
-Poison Apple
-Blue Gummi Copter* x4

(I kept mixing up round numbers?  So if I messed something up please tell me.)

Strategy:
Avoid 6.  Holy Jesus avoid 6.  You think everything is so nice because they give you 2 GDD and 2 PSM down, but no.  Like.  Really.  Don’t do it.  You also might run into some problems late-game with the Dark Plant in round 7, the Invisible in round 8, and the Possessors in round 10.

1 and 5 are pretty safe.  The rest are going to depend on medals and stuff.  If you have a cleanse (or iB&B) round 2 is a lot easier.  If you have ignores attribute medals, round 4 is easy.  If you have great single target, round 8 is pretty easy too.  My strategy will probably be: 1 > 2 > 5 > 8.  This might change to include 4 later on instead, depending on how things go.

I actually think this is a very unique Coliseum!  Lots of unique strategies, requiring different methods for different stages.  It’s cool!  Anyway…

Rewards:
This month is AB3 + Cost 2.  That’s 2 gauge cost and AB3 guaranteed on every use.  Very good for some of those high cost medals we’ve been getting like Xigbar B.  Top 10k get one, top 1k get two, and top 100 get three.

The new boards are ninjas!  They are identical to previous boards and are generally useless.  But they each have a Magic Mirror, a cute outfit, and the title “Powerful” for the blue one and “Combatant” for the pink.  Completing Tier 10 will get you enough for both boards and the first Mirror on the third board.  By completing Round 80 of Tier 11, you will also have enough coins to grab the first Mirror from the fourth board so be sure to do that!

And there you have it.  Good luck this month!

Maleficent B Event Guide!

Sorry about the guide delay again - I stayed up way too late working for Lux rankings and by the time 3am came around I was exhausted (and I work Mondays!)

So let’s get down to it. Maleficent B is your reward - a reversed magic AOE damage medal that costs 5 gauges. It’s not amazing on its own, but coupled with Moogle O’ Glory’s fourth slot and the “boosted” (+1000) Maleficent you can obtain, it’s quite useful. Actually, with the current climate of reversed magic - there hasn’t been a single event! - Maleficent B is invaluable for the F2P/C2P market. But of course there’s a catch: this event is uniquely very easy and very difficult.

The easy part: completing all 15 missions gets you 12 Maleficent medals total, which is obviously overkill. Actually, by the time you finish Mission 13, you already have eight. So to guilt Maleficent, you don’t need to complete the event. This is a good thing because

The hard part: the first objective for each mission requires you to bring reversed medals. The final three missions actually require you to have a complete set of reversed medals! And I don’t know about you guys, but my reversed medals suck. And for some added incentive, the boosted Maleficent can only drop from the final enemy group in Mission 15.

So let’s get into the enemy list, and I’ll talk strategy afterward. Each mission has three rooms; in the first two rooms, you can pick one of two groups to fight in order to progress to the next room. The target is in the final room. This is actually really useful because you can plan which group you want to attack.

(That was horrible to type out..)

Strategy:

Alright, this is about to get complicated. There are two strategies to this event. The first one is the reversed-only requirement. Since each mission gives you an extra Maleficent using reversed medals, you generally want to try to do that. RAX makes a nice return here, as well as GDD medals like Key Art 3, iXion, iAnsem, and HD Axel. Smee as well. Xaldin B and Xigbar B on Divine Rose helps with the copter fleets in Mission 15. Larxene A & B and Marluxia A & B help. WoFF Seph. Your friend medal does NOT have to be reversed, so taking someone’s Minnie&Daisy or KA1 with Second Chance can help a lot. Triple Threat (Status+) is a thing now, so that might help too (though I haven’t used it yet…) But the big thing here is: if you feel like you have to, you can use continues.

The second strategy involves your second run through the mission. You’ll want this if you used a continue the first time or if you want to farm up a boosted Maleficent. The drop rate seems very low, but they are infinite if you put in the time and effort. For this strategy, just make your absolute best keyblade and ignore the reversed requirement. (Actually, because you already have 8-11 Maleficent medals anyway, you don’t have to do the reversed requirement at all! If you have skip tickets, however, you should try for all objectives.) For this strategy you’ll definitely want iB&B (or another +3 Str medal but the cleanse helps a lot!). Use WoFF or J&S. Anything that ignores attributes. Training Ver. Mickey (or whatever it’s called in the global version), SDG B. Second Chance. Strong single target if your Nova can help with the enemies in the last group. I’m still a huge advocate of Xigbar B here.

In short, you can guilt Maleficent without doing Missions 14 and 15. If you want the boosted version and can’t get the right reversed setup, ignore the reversed entirely. Do you. Kick ass.

Alright this guide is way too long already so I’m going to call it there.

Good luck!! Event ends 4/2!!

PSA: As an aside, with the announcement of the awakening system in Union x, it might be better to hold off on actually guilting (or combining) Maleficent until the update hits. This is because of the trait system and all that… I won’t get into it here, but you should definitely keep it in mind when combining medals before the update.
